5 Warning Signs Reveal We Must Do Something Now! The culture of America is changing everyday. It’s gradually turning away from its Christian roots and through gradual acceptance, many Christian Americans are changing along with it. Can we rescue Christian America from the road toward extinction?
I am not sure what challenges may be in your pathway today, but it’s not a time to allow your faith to be defeated by them. Regardless, of what concerns you may have today, God has put within you the ability to fight back with faith!1 Timothy 6:12 says, Fight the good fight of faith…
Whether you have children in school or not, I believe they are in desperate need of our prayers. Think for a moment if God could save the firstborn children of Israel by the blood of lambs upon the doorposts, how much can we apply the blood of THE Lamb of God over our children and schools, declaring no weapon formed against them will prosper!
There are moments when everyone needs to be strengthened and refreshed.Sometimes we get caught up in the busy demands of life and don’t even realize we are getting bogged down spiritually, emotionally and physically.Times for receiving a refreshing are necessary.
Recently, I have been pondering the 33 years Jesus walked on this same earth that I walk. In fact, I have been reading every account where Jesus ministered healing on the shores of Galilee. I am amazed at God’s willingness to become flesh and dwell among this fallen world those 2,000 years ago. As these things go through my mind I can’t help but think of His suffering and then His final triumph as He paid the price once and for all for our forgiveness, deliverance, healing, provision and protection. Just as the Savior of the world performed miracles, signs and wonders in ancient times, we know that He is still at work today. Do you need a miracle? Is there a mountain in your way that needs to move? Jesus came to give us victory over anything the enemy throws our way!
"What a mess!" my husband and I both kept saying again and again as we threw our hands in the air. We spent the entire day going through old boxes of things we had collected over the years. We had set aside several days to clean out closets and storage spaces. We found countless things we forgot we owned. Do you have some boxes like that—the ones where you sort of know what is in them, but then again, not really? Most of us have scores of them.
Everyone has a different preference when it comes to prayer and how he or she feels is the best way to connect with God. The important thing is that you don’t want your prayer life to become mundane and never grow or change. You want it to be fresh, exciting and even explosive in the Spirit. We all want our prayers to be effective, and anyone who is full of the Spirit has the anointing to pray powerful prayers that produce miracles.
We can pray in such a way that our prayers just flow. We don’t have to force them. They can even become prophetic—the heart of the Holy Spirit pouring out of our words and expressions.
So many people allow negative experiences and broken dreams to stop them. Yet God has the power to propel you beyond your disappointments.
Have you ever heard the statement, “Experience is the best teacher”? It’s true. The problem is that experience can teach you the wrong things as well as the right ones.
A person who is severely bitten by a dog, for example, generally has a lifelong dislike—and often fear—of dogs. People can have all sorts of fears and phobias because of one bad dream, accident or tragic event in their lives.
Don’t leave! Please don’t leave!” were the words that stopped me in my tracks as I reached for the door to leave my prayer and study room. I slowly took my hand off the door handle, surprised by what I heard from the gentle voice inside my heart. “What?” Stunned by His words, I turned around, moving away from the door.
“Did you say something to me, Lord?” My heart started beating faster as I realized I had heard an incredible cry from God’s heart. I said, “Lord, I didn’t know You felt that way.” I was amazed that God was longing for me to stay with Him.
There have been many discussions and actions this year concerning bailouts for companies and corporate America and for the banking industries. But we as the people of God must not forget that God is going to bail out His people and save them in the day of calamity.
The ax head described in 2 Kings 6 that was detached from the ax handle floated and was brought back and reconnected to the handle by the supernatural hand of God so it could be a building tool again. God is reconnecting this nation and bringing forth restoration and recovery as He did with the ax handle. It was only by His supernatural power that it was possible, and so it will be in our nation
As Christians, we are called the body of Christ. He is the head and we are His body. According to the Bible we are no longer separate from Christ, but in fact we have been made one with Him. For how can the body be separated from the head? We are one with Christ! We are in Him and He is in us. We are created after His image and divine nature. 2 Peter 1:4 says, "Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world th...
Perhaps you have heard the saying in Christian circles, “If you only have The Word you will dry up and if you only have The Spirit you will blow up”! More than ever we need both the Word of God and the move of the Spirit to bring the body of Christ to maturity and manifest the kingdom in power. We have many who teach the Word, but they never have any demonstrations or manifestations...
It is a deciding time in the United States of America. Never before has our nation been so divided on issues regarding our moral heritage and foundational freedoms. The righteous history with which America was founded is at risk. Our nation is divided much like the days of Elijah in 1 Kings 18:21, which says, “why are you caught between two opinions?" It seems about that...
