Fiery Darts Quenched

"See this day that you shall not be thrust through by any fiery dart of the evil one," says the Lord. "For this is not the hour to lay down your confidence, but rise into your place of faith once again in those things before you, and you shall watch the assignments of evil against you be stopped on every side!"
Prophetic Scripture:
Ephesians 6:16 - Above all, taking the shield of faith wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Do you mean it is actually possible to quench every fiery dart the devil would try to throw at you? The answer, according to the Bible, is YES! The Bible really does mean everything that it says! But in order to see how possible that is, we should first consider the meaning of a 'fiery dart'. A fiery dart is literally a spiritual arrow designed to create fear. The reason we know this is true is because according to the verse above, the only defense against these darts is the shield of faith. Half the battle we face during a trial is dealing with the fear behind it! Fear is something that can burn like an out-of-control forest fire in only a few seconds! The moment that fearful thought strikes you like a match, your mind can so easily run away with you until these fearful thoughts begin to take over and burn like a wildfire. The only way to douse the flames of fear is with faith. However, faith doesn't just put the fiery dart out after it hits you. No! It puts out the flame before it even penetrates your being. That is why faith is referred to as a shield. It blocks fear from ever entering into your heart! That is why the Bible uses the words "above all" when it talks about the faith shield. Listen, if you do anything right, get your faith shield up and keep it there. Raise your confidence in the Lord, no matter how things might appear, and fear will not be able to get through. Then when fear can't find a place in you, the trials and problems you face will be forced to submit to the mighty power of God!
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for the mighty shield of faith. I raise my confidence of faith right now against every problem in my life today. I refuse to let fear penetrate my heart and mind. I quench those darts with faith in God's Word that His promises are true. Fear, you leave me right now, in the Name of Jesus! I declare that I am strong in faith today as I place my focus back on the Lord! In Your Name Lord, Amen.
