Proverbs 29:25 - The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.

The Bible tells us emphatically that this is a dangerous and evil day we are living in (2 Timothy 3:1-7).  We can get very easily focused on all the bad that does happen to so many people worldwide and mistakenly start to believe that something bad one day might happen to us or our loved ones.  No!  We have to understand that our safety is in the Lord!  Yes, but some might say, "I know that, but something bad DID happen in my life before."  Well, perhaps in one short paragraph we can't answer all the reasons to that.  Yet, one big reason we experience bad things even when God's promise is protection and safety, is because we BELIEVE more in the possibility for bad to occur, than we believe in God's promise of safety and good.  If you were to think it over, you will find there are times that has been true in your life in one area or another.  Be confident in the protection of the Lord today.  He has promised to keep you safe!  Stop being afraid of people and all the things in this world because God's promise to you is protection and safety, even when the day is evil.

Father, I know that Your promise and covenant with me today is protection from harm and evil.  I believe that promise right now and I refuse to accept anything other than Your promise.  I dwell today underneath the safe shadow of your wings and I trust in You for my good.  Thank You Lord that I live safe in Your arms today.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!
